Behind the Easel

This 8X10 oil painting developed from a glance out the car window. I wanted to capture the clouds, the beautiful blue sky, and the deep red rocks of southwestern Utah. This painting completes one of several in the works from my studio. A late summer heat wave has me down in the coolness of The Kiva, the sacred space I call my studio.
